Welcome to Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids! If your child needs a haircut, there is no better place on Staten Island!
For the little ones, the power wheels car seats are a hit, available in different styles for both boys and girls, complete with working sirens and moving wheels. For their first haircut, they receive a lock of hair and a certificate to commemorate the occasion.
For tweens, teens, or anyone in between, there are comfortable chairs equipped with Xboxes, PlayStations, and even mini makeover stations. Every haircut includes a wash, blow dry, mini-cure (girls can file and paint their nails!), lollipops, and balloons.
What truly impressed us is the charitable aspect. Upon paying for the haircut, the child receives a token to place in a charity box of their choice, with the charities rotating regularly. How amazing is that?
Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is one of only two locations in NYC, the other being on the Upper East Side. Customers come from all over Staten Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Long Island, and beyond for this unique experience.
